2012 Rose Parade
On December 29, 2011, Dawn's mom Lucy went to Pasadena and placed a yellow rose in Dawn's honor on the Donate Life: One More Day float. The rose was placed in an area called the Dedication Garden. If you are watching the Rose Bowl parade, see if you can find the rose. As you are looking at the float, it is on the left-hand side, about five rows from the bottom and about 4-5 roses in. It is nestled among several hundred other yellow roses. A personal note to Dawn was included with the rose.
Organ Donation was a very important choice that Dawn made. Her tragic death saved lives. We encourage you to consider becoming an organ donor. If you do, please be sure to let your friends and family know your choice.
